DAY 1
It's a
much needed short getaway after weeks of project and studying for exams.
Proud to say that I had finally unofficially graduated from school !
Was
planning this trip with my dear girl , Siya . We went to reseach a lot
on Bintan and Batam , was caught in a dilemma of which to go. We looked
through some deals for trips to this 2 places as well , but as y'all
know , deals usually have a lot of hidden cost and it's not really
trustworthy.
Thus we decided to make a trip to travel agency to check the rates out.
So , we finally decided for a 3d2n getaway at Bintan Agro beach resort .
The promo package we bought cost around $177 including ferry terminal tax.
IT'S THE BEST DEAL EVER !
and this package even includes kayaking and massage as well !

It's better to buy packages which includes sea sports or massages because if you
gonna spent there for these activities , it's gonna cost you a BOMB.
Boarded the ferry at around 11.10am ( Singapore time ) at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.
** DO NOT CHANGE MONEY AT THE FERRY TERMINAL
NEVER EVER
we didn't get to change money before hand thus decided to change some money at the terminal and the rate they gave was like 1SGD=8.3 Rupiah.

was sooo regret when we reached bintan and realised that even the resort gives a better rate of 1SGD=9000Rupiah ! argh.
the trip took around 50 mins to reach Bintan and the resort arranged a land transfer to the resort.
As Agro is located at the South-east of Bintan , the bus ride took around 1 hr.
To be honest , I am not expecting much of how fancy or good this resort and the beach will be like , coz to me it's just a short getaway from Singapore .
But to our surprise ! The resort and the seaview is FANTASTIC !!
I must say that Agro provides really good services . The beach is really empty , most probably it's because we went during weekdays.

By the time we had settled down everything in our room , it's around 2pm local time. We decided to have a free and easy day 1.
Walked around the resort to explore more and went to the restaurant to have our welcome drink ( watermelon juice ) and stayed awhile to use the Wifi. The only perks of this resort is that wifi is only available at the lobby and the restaurant..
slacked around and tanned a while .
went to a foot reflexology for an hour which cost around $18 .
The hotel provides different activities like city tour and evening trip . We then booked for an evening trip to their local streetfood market for dinner and their supermarket for shopping. The trip is at $12 per pax.
We are lucky that only 2 of us booked for this trip on that day , thus we had the whole 7 seater suv to ourselves !
The food in incredibly cheap and GOOD ! Strongly recommended to go for this evening trip !
Back to the hotel at around 10pm local time , rested a while and went to bed.
DAY 2
Wanted to wake up early to watch the sunrise , but both of us were too tired and lazy to do so.
Had our breakfast in hotel , the food was pretty good especially their Prata! two thumbs up for it!
Rested a while after breakfast as the sea is still at low tide thus we were not able to go for water sports yet.
Headed to our water sports , banana boat and kayaking , which were included in our package .
Banana boat is super fun ! sadly , we didn't bring our cameras along when going for the ride.
Followed by 30 mins kayaking , we literally sat there and play water , ended kayaking in around 15 mins coz it's getting way too hot.
Went to the pool to swim and tan after our water sports.
The view there is fabulous!
and of course! camwhore time !
after which , we got our 60 mins massage in our room and decided to visit their sister resort , Cabana beach resort which is a 10 mins ride away.
cabana resort is much smaller and quieter , but their sea is way prettier! The water is crystal clear .
Had our late lunch at cabana.

Went back to Agro to nua around and ended our day 2 activities.
